Gäng Hü – first teaser

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010

I have been exploring the wild and wicked world of Objective C and the lovely cocos2d-library lately and currently try to build a little game heavily inspired by my favourite game for the Sony PSP: Patapon. The temporary title of it is “Gäng Hü”, which is Bärndütsch (that funny Swiss-German dialect I call my native tongue) for “Go for it”.

The full game will be a lot more polished, contain more options and intelligent enemies and will be translated into more languages – am currently thinking about German, English and Japanese, if you want it in your language included and willing to send me translations, please let me know – something like Gaelic, Cymraeg or Korean would be lovely!

Anyway, I try to keep you updated as soon as there will be more to see, please enjoy your first look on this very work-in-progress version:

Demystified

Embarassing to see how these games are meant to be played, looks slightly different when I play them…

Enjoy some of my favourite but very hard games of the late 80s in all their beauty:

Mr Heli の大冒険

Dragon Spirit

Metal Gear

幽霊君 (Mr Ghost)

Penguin Adventure
(no sound, sorry, but see at 3:35 for my all-time favourite ending-text)
